Kalk Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of Visby. We, who work at Kalk, are a small team that collaborates across different departments.

We work together towards clear goals and aim to provide our guests with a personal experience focusing on details.

As a receptionist at Kalk Hotel, you are responsible for providing our guests with the best possible service and striving to exceed their expectations. You will work in an engaged service team at the heart of the hotel and thus have the joy of being our guests' first contact and impression of the hotel.

The working hours are irregular and scheduled on both weekdays and weekends, as well as public holidays. The position includes varied work divided into two shifts with day and evening shifts.

The position starts in early June and lasts until the end of August.

The role includes, among other things:

• Standard tasks such as check-in and check-out of guests, phone calls, bookings, and emails.
• Sales of products we provide at the reception, including some alcohol sales and food sales/service from the reception.
• Maintaining order and taking responsibility for the reception and lobby.
• Daily main responsibility for fire safety.

We would like you to:

• Have a good ability to communicate and prioritize under stressful conditions.
• Be flexible and enjoy working both independently and in a team.
• Preferably have previous experience from a reception.
• Have good language skills, fluent Swedish and good English in both spoken and written form.
• Be at least 20 years old (as the job includes being responsible for serving alcohol, which according to the alcohol law cannot be done by persons under 20 years).
